After a long absence from the pulpit, Dr. Ray Leininger -- the former pastor (retired 2004) of First Baptist Church of Bolivar, MO; a current "Virtual Strategy Coordinator for Russia" for the Southern Baptist Convention, and a former member of both the Southwest Baptist University the Missouri Baptist Convention Board of Trustees -- will return as guest speaker during the (second) Sunday Morning Worship service of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar, Missouri.
Since his retirement, Dr. Ray Leininger:
"has tapped into the need for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Tomsk; he also established a partnership between Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., and the university in Tomsk [Russia]." (see here).
Rev. Billy Russell, the current pastor of First Baptist Church of Bolivar and SBU alumnus and newly-appointed Southwest Baptist University Trustee, will be on holiday with his wife's family in Texas.
The service will be broadcast live beginning at 10:45 am (CST) on KYOO radio (1200 AM or 99.1 FM).
