Could Southwest Baptist University Have Its Non-Profit (501c3) Status Revoked Due to its Campaign of Discrimination Against Women and the Disabled?
Could Southwest Baptist University -- due to its past record and ongoing campaign of discrimination against women and the disabled -- have its non-profit [501 (c) 3] status revoked?
Should it?
Could the Southwest Baptist University administration officials, because of their continuing support of unethical and criminal conduct within the institution, be immediately fired?
Should they?
Do the Southwest Baptist University Trustees, because of their refusal to deal with these matters, bear the burden of responsibility for neglecting to lead forthrightly?
As a matter of ethical principal, should they, too, be dismissed ... or offer their resignations?
Do the members of the Executive Board of the Missouri Baptist Convention owe any obligation to the students, parents, community and church supporters of Southwest Baptist University?
Or, will they, too, continue to ignore their duties and responsibilities?
These (and other) issues will be addressed during the early February meeting of the Missouri Baptist Convention in several weeks.
Additional information on will be posted today (Thursday) and Friday ...
